Energy Assistance

Do you need help with energy assistance? Colchester Youth and Social Services is here to help.

Colchester’s Social Service programs are designed to assist individuals and families in meeting their basic needs and are designed to encourage personal responsibility, foster independence, and promote self-sufficiency while maintaining dignity and privacy. They provide:
  • Food Bank
  • Mobile Food Pantry
  • Energy Assistance
  • Fuel Bank
  • Assistance with completing forms and applications
  • Advocacy
  • Holiday Baskets and gifts
  • Back-to-school supplies
  • Summer lunch program for program participants
To find out if you’re eligible for energy assistance for any of the above mentioned services, please call Social Services at (860) 537-7255 or send them an email to youthservices@colchesterct.gov. (Don’t be fooled by the email address, youth and social services are within the same office)
