Did you know there’s a really cool Facebook group called Buy Nothing Colchester? They offer people a way to give and receive, share, lend, and express gratitude right here in town.

Here’s a note from the Buy Nothing Colchester administrator Kelly: We are your hyper-local gift economy in Colchester, part of a global movement to connect neighbors with one another through shared resources. We are based on the idea of “borrow a cup of sugar from your neighbor” – but so, so much more. The Buy Nothing Project values people over stuff, and to that goal, we have a set of rules in place.
